Wonderful location. Very clean. Staff are very pleasant. Good breakfast. Only issue was the mattress was very squishy.

On my first visit I had a light, comfortable and pleasantly furnished room. However, when I returned a week later my room was clean and basic but had an "unloved" air: dark brown woodwork throughout and a door where the lock had clearly been changed on 2-3 occasions with no repair of the damage. The only "picture" was a leaf print on a piece of curled paper inside an old black frame. The breakfast, although plentiful was uninspiring e.g. tinned fruit rather than fresh, the cooked breakfast consisted of baked beans, egg, sausage and bacon. The check in and check out was painless and the bakery around the corner was amazing. If you are able bodied the walk to the main strip is a nice distance away so it was a perfect location for us.
