Argo Hotel - Kings Cross

Paid for a double room, given a single room – Extremely rude and unprofessional staff

Pros: The bed was comfortable, and the hotel's location was very convenient, right next to the station. Cons: We arrived at the hotel at approximately 4 a.m., exhausted from our journey. We collected our keys, went to our room and immediately fell asleep. The following morning, we noticed that our room was unusually small. After checking our Booking.com reservation and comparing the photographs and room details, we discovered that we had been given a single room despite having booked and paid for a double room. We approached reception politely, hoping that the mistake could be corrected

Pros: Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer an sich hat seinen Zweck erfüllt. Sehr gute Lage für unsere Pläne. Positiv ist das Bad zu erwähnen, das war wirklich ok. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Nicht typisch englisch, sondern ein kaltes Buffet. Cons: Die schmale Treppe bis ganz nach oben mit Gepäck muss man glücklicherweise nur einmal gehen. Aber auch jeden Tag ein gutes Training so ganz ohne Fahrstuhl. Das Zimmer ist mit dem Doppelbett und dem kleinen Beistelltisch völlig ausgelastet, was es unmöglich macht, auch nur den kleinsten Schrank unterzubringen. Im Dopp

Un hôtel proche de la gare St Pancras et du métro

Pros: L'emplacement proche de la gare internationale st Pancras là où arrive l'eurostar. Très proche d'une entrée de métro, king cross. Proche de restaurants. Dans un quartier résidentiel. Cons: Le bruit de la porte accédant du RDC aux étages. Ayant une chambre au rdc, j'ai entendu cette porte faire du bruit pendant les 4 nuits car les clients rentrent tard le weekend ou se lèvent tôt pour repartir. Cette porte mériterait d'être changée.

Good location, comfortable hotel

Pros: Location is good, a few minutes walk to Kings Cross station. Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast have a good choice. Cons: The room was tiny but had the facilities needed. The shower in particular was very small, I could hardly move in it.
