Thank you, Uta. You were a guide, an introduction to Detroit and a friend
Pros: Uta was an exceptional host who made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Her house is a living work of art, filled with personality, creativity, and thoughtful details. This isn't a place for people expecting a polished four-star hotel—it's an authentic experience with real character. Some doors even have two handles, and while some guests might find that unusual, I found myself smiling and enjoying the playful curiosity of it. If you appreciate places with soul rather than perfection, you'll love staying here.
Cons: not a reflection on the property or host - City centre was furth

Lots of arts on the wall can be a bit overwhelming. It seems some of them were added by the clients.
Pros: The price was reasonable for our budget. The kitchen was adequate for cooking small meals. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The grocery store and bus stops are nearby.
Cons: The kitchen cupboards are poorly organized, and most of their doors do not shut properly. The lever for the shower faucet is not there.
