Arundel House Hotel

Small, characterless, corporate and expensive.

Pros: Not much. The location was ok. Cons: The room was small, characterless and corporate - more like a B&B than a hotel. Miserable.

A pleasant stay overall

Pros: The location and the parking. Cons: Tired decoration, TV remote not working, heat on radiator difficult to control.

Pros: Zeer rustig, aangename sfeer en karakter. Comfort op kamer Cons: Douche zou iets moderner kunnen.

Good location... only....

Pros: The location is really good as it's a short walk away through the park to the city centre. Cons: Some Staff manners, bar only open at certain times due to short of staff, poor continental breakfast. If you don't book on the hotel website, you will have to pay £18 a day for the car park, after booking the room I have received a few emails and phone calls asking me if I would like to book a table at their restaurant. I don't like to be pressured to book something that I don't want to....

Pros: Excellent value hotel, well situated opposite the river for a nice stroll to the city centre or to go on a punt trip. If you book direct with the hotel, I believe you'll not be charged £18 for 24 hour parking. Cons: The continental breakfast was very good but a full English breakfast was extra.
