If want to be in the tourist district and want to pay a minimal rate in London, hotel an option.
Pros: Great location - musical theatres, tourist district, beside Oxford & Piccadilly Squares, Hop On/Hop Off bus nearby, and more. The staff were very pleasant. Cons: Somehow missed in the listing - Compact Windowless Room. It was definitely compact - similar to a university dorm, maybe 200 sq ft if that. And the fact there was no window was a 1st for us. Tricky finding a spot to put our luggage. Bed sheets did not fit the mattress. Also wanted to charge 10 pounds per bag, even if holding only for an hour.
