Convenient location
Pros: The property is convenient to central Christchurch. The room 7A, was on the first floor, stairs only. Room was clean and bed comfortable, Staff were friendly, this room was quiet.. a little city traffic noise. but to be expected
Cons: I was very surprised to be charged for parking on the property. I read in booking.com, that private parking was available and would be a NZD (see Photo below).. but I was expecting it to be a property outside of the Motel complex. ie a neighbouring private property..... instead it was the Motelier themselves charging for their own Parking spaces. $10NZD or

Very good location
Very good location. Comfortable bed and nice shower room. However, the living space is minimal: 2 armchairs in a corner. The balcony mentioned is not private and not right in front of the room (even though we were supposedly upgraded!). Windows are low under the roof, so not very bright. The comments in the description I had printed suggest that breakfast is possible, but it is not.

Disappointed
Cons: Checking in to get my key she said there was a charge of $10 for carpark, this was not mentioned beforehand, just seemed to be sprung on me. TV could not work. 2 single beds were bouncy, not very comfortable, felt like tipping out. Place/room very average for what I paid for.
