Peaceful alternative to staying in Wellington in a nice beachside location.

Pros: We chose this place to stay as an alternative to staying in Wellington. It is about 25 minutes drive to the port from there. It is a very modern apartment with views across the sandy bay below. It was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Not at all bad in content but we had to go out and buy more milk and marmalade, both of which were however useful for our next stop elsewhere. We could not get the, very new-looking, aircon to generate any heat but the host brought in a tenant of hers over the Easter weekend to try and fix it. It was not fixable at that time a

Pros: The room is very tastefully done, the view is excellent, we felt very well taken care of by our host Raewynne. Cons: Opportunities to eat or shop in the neighborhood are limited.
