Overall a nice value for money, but I don't recommend this place if you're new to Shanghai

Pros: The hotel itself and the rooms are really very stylish. Everything was super clean and new. Amazing breakfast! Cons: The location wasn't perfect as described in many reviews. First of all, you have to walk a lot in the area to reach metro (11 min walking! and over the bridge) or to have normal coffee/grocery stores. Second of all, even though they're providing only non-smoking rooms, I had a strong tobacco smell from the previous guest, when I entered the room. Even the window was open to get rid of that smell. This is disgusting and the hotel shouldn't be managed like that.
