Beautifully decorated room with a lot of taste - subtle.
Pros: A spiral staircase leads to a very large room in a historically significant outbuilding. Water, coffee, and tea are provided in the room. Breakfast is small but nice - everything you need for a good start to the new day. Cons: The floor creaks quite loudly - so we felt that we could disturb the guests staying in the room below us. It is very soundproof.

Apple juice from the region, boiled egg offered, muesli, very good coffee. The view from our superior room of the illuminated castle in the evening was beautiful. Charming hotel in the center of Porrentruy. Cons: The very strong yellow street lights are bothersome in the summer with the windows open for fresh air. The only downside for us.

Pros: Pretty, historic hotel in the middle of the old town, minimalist simple modern furnishings. Cons: I would have liked to have had 2 chairs in a double room. A stool would do as well.
