Pros: de sfeer en authentieke sfeer van het hotel. Zeer vriendelijk en onbijt was top!! Kamer service was buitengewoon Cons: De kamers waren wat aan de kleine kant wat op de fotos niet zo zichtbaar was maar alles was aanwezig wat er was. We hadden om 04.00 smorgens een brandalarm, we werden geëvacueerd naar een hotel paar huizen verder. om 04.45 terug vrijgegeven. Wel jammer dat er bij uitchecken of ontbijt niets over werd gezegd, excuses hoeven niet kan het personeel ook niets aan doen maar een uitleg was misschien wel handig.

Not what it used to be - expensive & pared down.

Pros: Its location. And the traditional style. Cons: Expensive, mean (2 minute biscuits & only 2 tea bags). We paid £309 for 1 night, & that didn’t include breakfast. We’ve been to this B&B many times and it’s always been a key reason for us to come to Edinburgh. Now that it’s changed hands we won’t be comng again.

Sehr schönes Herrenhaus; Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und man kann auch noch zusätzlich bestellen; bringen das Gepäck aufs Zummer; alte Bibliothek ist sehenswert!!! Bar vorhanden!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at B+B and will recommend to friends and family staying in town.

Pros: We enjoyed our room and all the amenities. Morning tea (ready to go in room) was a great way to start the day, and the in suite bath tub was perfect to wind down and relax after a day of walking around town. We were happily surprised that the bed and breakfast has its own taxi button which we found much more convenient for travel than trying ride share apps. Staff were attentive, helpful, and kind. Cons: The room did have some wear and tear which is to be expected with an older historic property, however many of the modern editions were also worn and could be replaced (mirror cracked in
