An Excellent Autograph Collection Hotel

When you book an Autograph Collection hotel, you never know what you’re going to get. the Bankside Hotel was wonderful. The check-in staff was excellent-warm, on top of things and helpful. The location was excellent for exploring London and for taking the tube to/from the various airports. The buffet breakfast (which is complimentary for Titanium members) was good. They have a nice happy hour on the terrace, with complimentary wine, a few evenings each week. My favorite thing about the Bankside was the curtains that were pieces of art by Dutch artist Claudy Jongstra.

Stylish, comfortable and conveniently located.

This is a very good hotel. Not too big or lavish but well-appointed and stylish. We had a Deluxe King room which was very comfortable and spacious. The location is great - quiet but right on the Southbank and close enough to reach most attractions on foot if you do not mind walking for 30 minutes (the weather was great so we walked everywhere). But tube and national rail stations are also very close. Breakfast was good (but not excellent); there is one main room and one spillover room which is not very nice and seems to be used mainly for families with young children. Staff at reception were

Great stay, great service

We have stayed here a few times now and have really enjoyed it each time. The location of the hotel (esp if arriving from Gatwick) is unbeatable. The service at the hotel is great, check-in is efficient while still very welcoming. At breakfast the staff were very attentive, special mention for Anastasia who remembered our breakfast orders from a previous stay and was very sweet with our children. These little touches mean a lot! This is the best Bonvoy hotel in London, at least for our family needs.

Very convenient and comfortable room and I’m fussy about beds

Pros: Better than many well known chains and not much more expensive Cons: Pillows on the soft side but bed massive and comfortable
