Never given a bad review before but this place left me fuming

Cons: When we arrived everything was closed. Had to phone someone and get talked through checking in. Then had to do some online check in. Took ages to actually get into the place. Later on we saw other guests struggling to check in. Then a member of staff finally arrived and had a really bad attitude with everyone that mentioned how bad checking in was. She was rude, patronising and argumentative as if we were all in the wrong and that this is normal with hotels. There was no staff to help with anything, no security in place, no food options as everything was closed. We asked to be refunded s

Pros: L'accueil exceptionnel de la personne sur place qui malgré la barrière de la langue s'est montrée très souriante, professionnelle et disponible. Cons: Dommage de ne pas avoir beaucoup de possibilités de manger en arrivant à 19 heures.

Very nice rooms. Recommended.

Pros: The room was beautiful and clean. The setting was absolute charm. I strongly recommend it. Cons: I really didn't appreciate having to pay a deposit that was more than my whole stay.

Pros: The lodges were newly refurbished rooms that were very clean and renovated to a high standard. Excellent shower. The restaurant food was very nice. Cons: We booked house keeping for Saturday but they didn't come until Sunday. The noise levels from the next apartment along were not great (lodge 1 I think). We could hear there Radio/TV quite late and first thing in the morning.

Nice place and I would stay again.

Pros: Great location for a trip to Stirling and meeting family. Cons: Room floors could have been cleaner. Everything else was very nice though.
