Large pub in an attractive rural location in an old mill, close to Old Basing
Large pub in an attractive rural location in an old mill, close to Old Basing. A stone's throw from Basingstoke, but you'd never know. Good sized rooms in a separate building. Could do with an extra chair though! Reasonably priced. Good breakfast. Happy to return when we're next in the area.
Lovely location, nice pub only bed let it down.
Pros: Spacious, clean and close to nature Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable so didn’t get the best nights sleep. Fire alarm going off didn’t help.
Always a pleasure to stay here! Staff are always friendly
Pros: Spacious and clean always happy Cons: Nothing
