Such a lovely hotel, ideally placed in old Shanklin with pubs and shops nearby. Gilly was so friendly and welcoming we didn’t want to leave!

Comfortable and quiet guest house with lovely garden
Pros: Hosts went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. For example at breakfast I asked if there was any natural yoghurt available. Then everyday of my stay there was a dish of natural yoghurt ready for me in the yoghurt fridge. The poached eggs were the nicest I have had. My room was very spacious and spotlessly clean with lots of storage space. As an added bonus a red squirrel visited the bird table while I was eating breakfast. I stay on the IOW often to visit family. Bedford lodge will be my first choice from now on. Cons: Only a tiny thing, I would prefer to have breakfast e

Wonderful staff, great breakfast the whole building was clean as a whistle.
Pros: Lovely friendly welcome from the owner and all the staff. The whole place was spotless with seemingly new carpets throughout. The breakfast was wonderful. Cons: I think next time we’ll pay a little more for a bigger room. We had the smallest. It was lovely but a wee bit tight for us and our luggage.

Wonderful Bedford Lodge
Pros: Really lovely place to stay. Great location and a lovely host and wonderful breakfasts. Would definitely stay there again. Cons: We thought it was all perfect.
