Cons: No offer of cooked breakfast. Not keen on the idea of breakfast being served in the room. Such a waste as too much bread was left.

Pleasant, convenient and very helpful host.
Pros: The host was really lovely, & very pleasant. The breakfast was plentiful, and the grounds were lovely. The room was pleasant, but in need of a little TLC. Cons: We had to ask for handtowels & a bathmat, and the shower tray could have been cleaner. The room decor was pleasant, but everything could have done with a thorough clean ( the dish with the jams was very sticky). Fresh milk would have been preferable to UHT. We would have enjoyed fresh air, but couldn't open the windows.

Pros: Found easily with instructions provided. Key pickup and greeting perfect. Easy parking. Cons: Could only open one window to allow a breeze but a fan was provided. (it was 35 degrees and very hot weather).

A great stay in a wonderful place!
Pros: A great B&B in a lovely location. A real 'home from home' with everything we needed for our 2-night stay. A lovely touch of taking breakfast in your room at a time to suit you. The host, Mike, was extremely friendly and always happy to chat 😁. From our room we were able to enjoy watching wildlife in the lovely garden - various species of birds, a rabbit and a muntjac deer! The bed was sooooo comfy and the bathroom was huge (we had room 1). It was a short drive from Bury St Edmunds and all that this fab town has to offer.
