Great place to stay close to the Great Wall
Pros: The owners are amazing, the location is 5 min away from the Great Wall entrance, the property was clean and the room has a nice balcony watching at the mountains Cons: Nothing

Stay here. It’s fantastic
Pros: It is very close to the entrance of the Great Wall which meant that we could go up onto the wall before the droves of tourist buses arrived from Beijing. That meant we had no queues and great photo opportunities with hardly anyone there. The hotel is spotless and the rooms are spacious. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. They picked us up from the airport late at night, made amazing food for breakfast and dinner, and helped us to buy tickets for activities The property itself has a beautiful roof terrace with a view of the Great Wall. Cons: Loved everything

Best stay ever
The whole stay was amazing! We had such a wonderful time. The place is really beautiful with great spaces downstairs for breakfast and dinner and a rooftop area for chilling. Lily's cooking was incredible - it's really worth having dinner there. Her husband picked us up from the airport and helped us buy our tickets for all the Great Wall activities. Best hotel we've stayed in.

A wonderful surprise! A family-run hotel just a stone’s throw from the north entrance of the Great Wall. The rooms are brand new, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. We had an amazing dinner on the terrace. Highly recommended!
