As a budget alternative, this more than ticks the boxes. I would stay here again.

Pros: It was extremely clean. The shower was good - hot and nice pressure. The ceilings were high and despite the record temperatures, the room was relatively cool and airy at night. I didn't really feel the lack of AC. Cons: It lacked some character. A few pictures on the wall would certainly have made the place a bit more inviting. The walls were stark white - it felt a little like a monastic cell! :) Not super central, but the public transit was relatively close by.
