Best Western Annesley House Hotel

Ok stay, but no more than it needed to be for that price.

Pros: good location and cosy surroundings. Cons: Arrived late, around midnight, and evening staff were helpful. However, when we came into the room and turned on the lights, 2-3 silverfish scuttled away. This was concerning, as they are known to get into luggage and spread to people's homes that way. Should have addressed this with staff, but it was too late on the day, and we since never got around to it. We have still not dared to take our suitcases into our house since arriving home. Room also smelt a bit damp.

I wouldn’t stay longer than 1 night in that particular room.

Pros: Lovely area for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Cons: Some stairs up to the bathroom. Having to pay to park car.

Hidden gem, fabulous staff, will be back

Pros: What a gem this hotel is. From the attentive staff to the beautiful oasis garden at the back, it was a joy to be here. Cons: Absolutely nothing, loves my stay!
