Best Western Grant Park Hotel

Nice enough stay and would probably use again.

Pros: The room was clean and tiny and great size. Location was great and shower very good too. The housekeeping staff were lovely. Cons: With it being the weekend of the marathon I was very disappointed that breakfast wasn’t arranged earlier. Also when booking I was told breakfast was included but they did not mention it was a bakery and you were given vouchers to use. The bakery while very nice, was limited in terms of what you could have for breakfast. The staff weren’t very knowledgeable about what time breakfast was served at either.

Good location but basic - over priced

Pros: Great location. Stayed for the Chicago marathon - great location for the start and finish. Room was ok. Bus stops near by too - so easy to get to the mag mile etc. Cons: Basic hotel that is dated. Very noisy too - could hear the train, traffic, pretty much everything going on outside. Windows were hopeless from a sound perspective. Incredibly expensive due to it being the marathon. It’s a $150 per night hotel at best. No breakfast included. Only thing going for it is the location.
