Disappointing
Pros: Breakfast was hot and fresh Cons: The room smelt and lots of dead flies in the window area which was disgusting!
Comfy room and bed. Receptionist expected to be handyman, waiter and bar staff as well!
Pros: Comfy room with chairs and a table so that was good. Tea, coffee and milk when we arrived. Good tv but remote broken when we arrived. Receptionist sorted this quickly. Cons: Room not made up the second day bed unmade and no new tea, coffee or milk. Didn’t complain though as I’de brought some of my own. Thought breakfast was expensive so didn’t bother. Ate in the restaurant on the first night but had a long wait…at least 45 minutes. Food OK when it actually came. Parking charge not really warranted as they had a large site. Probably didn’t include it in room charge as it would put people
Location was ideal as we were visiting family - it is not a hotel that would be comfortable to hang out in but we had a
Pros: Location, darkness of the room, comfort of the bed and good quality shower Cons: Room had mouldy smell in it when we arrived and also when we got home in the evening. We were left waiting a long time for staff to appear to check out.
Not quite what was expected
Pros: Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely, the beds were comfortable and the place in general was quite clean. Cons: The outside area was not in a very good location as I had to walk around the side of the building to sit at a table to enjoy my glass of wine, also the plants didn't appear to be very well looked after. The chef didn't turn up the next morning, which meant we couldn't enjoy the full breakfast experience. Very disappointing.
Quite satisfied.
Pros: Beautifully quiet room.. Cons: Restaurant area is rather open and draughty.
