Great Hotel, Great Value

Pros: Really welcoming staff, free room upgrade, very well located and the dining room was excellent. Cons: Nothing actually.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and the hotel was very comfortable. The breakfast was good, particularly the cooked breakfast! We enjoyed the meal we had in the restaurant, too. Cons: Nothing, it was all good!

The Goldilocks Hotel

Pros: After a weeks road trip this was the last place we stayed and like in Goldilocks and the Three Bears we felt it was ' just right', our favourite accommodation and the best value for money. From the warm welcome by the lady on reception to the comfy room and delicious breakfast. This hotel thinks about the personal touch and the little things that seem to be missing these days from more expensive places. Breakfast ingredients e.g. big butchers sausages, 'real' mushrooms, nicely cooked eggs, great coffee to the helpful visitors book in the room. Staff friendly and interested. Match this w

Thoroughly enjoyable

Pros: Very good selection for breakfast; staff excellent, helpful and welcoming; great location for wandering into or around Ironbridge Cons: Slightly creaky floorboards above (maybe unavoidable in an old building)

Nice place to visit and stay!

Pros: Lovely place to visit and the hotel had a beautiful park behind. Cons: The price being put up (£50) because it was a weekend visit. No lift at the hotel and we were on the top floor and the noise from some sort of fan outside our window was very loud all the time.
