Excellent value for money for a really lovely room, bathroom and such a comfortable bed. Breakfast was 10/10

Had a nice relaxing stay, perfect start to our holiday before our flight from Manchester.

Fantastic breakfast, also had an evening meal which was also great.

Black Lion, absolutely top tier place!

Pros: Comfy rooms, superb staff, great selection of food in the bar, good drinks and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I can't stress enough how great the people working there are. 100% dedicated to your needs and they all have an excellent sense of humor, proper northern english banter. I will absolutely come back ! Cons: The only slight downside is the outside traffic noise in the morning but it's hardly a minus.
