Small hic ups but excellent hotel will visit again

The hotel is excellent , clean quiet and good food. Only two small problems, we paid for our breakfast extra when we arrived at the hotel but we were told we hadn`t paid every morning of our stay. Which then had to be sorted out,we found a little embarrassing. Also we found the room rather cold in the evening being November and was surprised there was no heating on. we were very quickly given a portable heater when we told reception.

Good but could be improved

Enjoyed the stay. Staff friendly and polite. Our executive double room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but the decor was a bit tired and could do with updating.

We had a 2 night stay. On arrival we were attended to by a less than enthusiastic receptionist. There was no friendly conversation.. I asked her if I needed a towel, coin for locker..she said she didn’t know. Cannot believe she’s not been asked that before… We also had to ask where the pool was, what time breakfast was and where. Additionally we also wanted to know if we needed to book a table for dinner. Although she did answer the questions, she should not have needed to be prompted. These are basic questions people usually ask. On handing us the key, she was very clinical , again no convers

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Pool area and playground was very clean and well kept. Couldn’t find a hair dryer in my room but other than that, couldn’t fault my stay. It was wonderful. Thank you!

Overall a good stay. Great there is a kids playground and staff were really friendly. Soundproofing between rooms could be better especially if you are surrounded by families with kids. Pool in reality is smaller than what you see in photos and water was quite cool for babies and only a few loungers available.
