Beautiful old, classically Scottish house.
Pros: Lovely old house with charming Victorian decor. We stayed in a huge room - the Manor room - with a beautiful fireplace, ceiling and lamps, wood panels etc. Cons: It could have made a lot more of the lovely old house and grounds eg by improving the garden and adding a common area like a breakfast room or a bar area. Just a little tlc and it could be really fabulous.
I regretted using the facility.
Pros: I like the proximity of the area to my location. I like the serenity of the area. Cons: Very rude customer service.

Pros: The room was ok and the girl at reception was nice. Cons: I had to personally tell other guests to be quiet. Shouting, laughing outside my door late at night. Lots of guests arriving between 10pm and midnight - lots of noise and car alarms going off. It was a horrible experience for that reason.

was working nights, room was quiet and well equipped. staff were helpful and left me alone which was just right, location good for where I was working with amenities available locally
