Boschendal Farm Estate

Pros: Lovely breakfast and the team working in the Retreat Restaurant were very attentive, Clement looked after our every need. View from the cottage was incredible. The shuttle driver on Saturday the 12th was fantastic. He took a scenic route through the retreat area for my return back. He was very informative about the grounds and incredibly passionate about the work they do at Boschendal, really helped make the experience. Cons: Very small things on the accommodation. The indoor seating area wasn't very comfortable. It seemed like our back decking cover was missing so we couldn't sit out

The Orchard Accommodation was cosy,the bed was cosy, the fireplace and the braai area were also an added advantage. The whole atmosphere at the property was peaceful, the mountains behind the place and everything about the property

Pros: Cottages were spacious, clean and modern Cons: Quite isolated (not an issue for us) but if you didn’t drive you’d be reliant on the shuttle service which wasn’t overly reliable
