Pros: Location Cons: The bathroom was unusable. Literally couldn’t sit on the toilet at all. Had to dry off in the shower. Terribly designed and yes I realize it’s a very old hotel. I’ve stayed in plenty of

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. At check-in, I was given a free room upgrade to a room that contained a desk when I said that I was in Boston for work ... the desk was super helpful to me! Also, I was able to store my bags after check-out, so I didn't have to lug them to a work meeting. The on-site restaurants were convenient, and the food was delicious! And, the coffee shop/gift shop was convenient! Love my Starbucks! Cons: Nothing I didn't like!
Pros: The location is great for walking to many things in Boston. The rooms are nicely refurbished but rather small. And although I booked two rooms of the exact same category and paid the exact same price, (Deluxe King Room), one room was definitely larger than the other. Because the hotel was 100% booked out we had no chance to try and find a larger 2nd room. The rooms should not have the same price if the size is noticeably smaller. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Parker House noting the history and location was a great asset.
Pros: We loved the historical significance of the hotel, the excellent location and the wonderful amenities. The staff was very polite and efficient. The two onsite bars and the restaurant for breakfast were all well appointed and excellent. Cons: Our only complaint was the size of the room and the lack of a view. Obviously high rise buildings were built next to the original hotel making any view impossible unless on the top floors (higher priced rooms, and public venues).
