The room and bathroom were very spacious
The room and bathroom were very spacious. Check-in went smoothly. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, rich breakfast, and the location was very good, the trade fair grounds and shopping mile were within walking distance very quickly. We will definitely check in here again.
Communication was unclear from the beginning, room spacious.
Pros: Bed, spacious room. Cons: No idea when they actually wanted to come to make the beds but went out at a different time every day with a green sign, never got new bath towels, coffee machine used only once: shortly after, a dirty green tinge appeared at the bottom, couldn't get it washed, sink not connected in cabinet, faucet even half loose and the handles of the cabinet doors too, same cabinet too small to fit a coffee bag in, asked for a bath but got no response from the hotel, just got the smallest shower available. Very nice, quiet hotel
Pros: The hotel is very tastefully decorated. The bed was super comfortable. The fact that there was a refrigerator in the lobby with complimentary drinks like soft drinks and wine was a great offer. If we travel to Essen again, we will stay at this hotel again. Cons: The breakfast was very small, limited. Maybe it was due to the few guests. I missed something fresh but there were only 2 cucumber slices and a halved cocktail tomato.
