Boutiquehotel Dreesen - Villa Godesberg

Delightful boutique hotel in a very pretty town (outside of Bonn) with a lovely riverside location.

Pros: The room was light. It was nice satellite area - safe and walkable. There was a bakery and a couple of good restaurants nearby. It was close a delightful riverside bar and near to the castle and single cog railway that are well worth a visit. Free parking right outside. Cons: It wasn't clear how far out of Bonn it was - it's listed as Bonn but takes 20 minutes on the train to get there. However, Bad Godesburg turned out to be delightful so it was a blessing as we preferred it to Bonn.

Lovely accommodation in a quiet area

Pros: Lovely accommodation. Cons: No one on reception after 5pm which wasn’t informed about until the day of our arrival so had issues with sorting our bikes.

The price is too high for the services received

Pros: I like the location. Cons: I didn’t like that there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom, the room was on the top floor an it was too hot. A very small fan was in the room, but it was not enough. If staying here, you should ask for a lower floor. In addition, according to the receptionist the cleaning is done every two days. For €130 per night one expects to have the room cleaned every day. As we requested, they did it at the end. Another thing to consider is that no wifi was available in the room during our stay, which for me was one of the services I must have had. I reported it, an
