Pros: The location and staff were perfect. Cons: The room we had was awful, the walls were stained the curtain damage, the room was tiny and worst of all the bathroom floor was literally leaking
Pros: The location and staff were perfect. Cons: The room we had was awful, the walls were stained the curtain damage, the room was tiny and worst of all the bathroom floor was literally leaking. We think it must have been a leaking pipe from the toilet due to the colour but having the room for my wedding day was not great. If we had got there earlier and realised the night of arrival we would have requested to change rooms. Obviously the staff didn't know anything of it and I'm sure they would have allowed us to change but by the time we realised it was too late.

I would never stay here again and I advise others not to.
Pros: Its location and evidence of previous grandeur. Cons: The place has become a budget hotel at 4 star prices. You pay for bed and breakfast up front. You can’t charge things to your room. One of two small lifts has apparently been out of action for months. Breakfast was a disaster- understaffed so no table clearing, overcrowded at busy times, food poor and lukewarm, coffee machines unattended when grounds container full, restaurant is now a curry house, staff unhelpful - refused to deliver something to my room. No diversity in staff - all are Asian.

The room was exceptional
The room was exceptional. Spacious, great decor, and staff were friendly and very helpful with parking. The location was perfectly positioned with great restaurants, bars, shops, and activities a short walk away. Would highly recommend.

Very Loud!
Massive event in the function room. Very loud, went in late. Totally mad, no one can have slept. Avoid like the plague.
