Comfortable base for exploring the Highlands
Pros: Modern, well equipped cottage located 2,5 KM from Ballater with its shops, excellent restaurants and attractions. Attentive hosts who facilitated the overall process. Comfortable beds and generally well furnished although the coffee machine could do with replacing.
Cons: The cottage is part of a farm complex consisting of four or five buildings. One imagines that if all the accommodation were occupied there would be less privacy than was the case for us. Ballater is close by, but only really reachable by car via a typically narrow road and finding the cottage is not entirely straightforw

Will be back!
Accommodation was absolutely lovely. Location just what we wanted. Rural, quiet, plenty of walking but within a stones throw of the shops and eateries in Ballater.

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung in einem typisch schottischen Cottage. Gemütlich eingerichtet, alles vorhanden. Eintreten und sich zu Hause fühlen! Hunde sind willkommen, nicht nur geduldet.

Een heel fijne woning als uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen en trektochten.
Pros: Het huisje is heel mooi en praktisch ingericht. De keuken is goed uitgerust en je hebt alle nodige plaats in de woon- en slaapkamer. Het bed is lekker ruim. Alles was heel proper en verzorgd.
Cons: Het zou handig zijn om je haar in de badkamer te kunnen drogen.
