Cosy relaxing stay in the the heart of Aviemore
Pros: Friendly hotel in the centre of Aviemore. It has a traditional Scottish charm giving it a cosy feel. Lovely and warm (stayed in some v cold hotels in Scotland!) quiet at night, beds comfortable, I stayed in a solo room that was small but v comfortable and had everything I needed. Cons: There are some big lights outside that light up the building. The bedrooms on that side could do with a blind, along with the curtains to block this out at night. That said I would still stay there sgain
It was ideal
very friendly staff and hearty breakfast
Pros: Lovely foyer and staircase when you enter the hotel. Cons: I felt some of the reception staff appeared a bit disinterested in speaking with us.
Very nice. Staff were all great and helpful. We definitely would stay here again
Pros: It was unique and had character. Great location to the train station and shops Cons: I thought the bathtub was very deep and a bit awkward to get in and out of when using the shower
