Cambria Hotel New York - Chelsea

Good location, but poor housekeeping, noise and frustrating lift waits

Pros: The location is good, close to restaurants and NY Penn Station. The room was fairly spacious and included tea and coffee facilities as well as a useful fridge. Cons: The room was dirty on arrival, with dust, hair and sticky marks on the floor. Housekeeping had already finished for the day, and the floor was never cleaned properly during my stay. Staff also repeatedly knocked or tried to enter despite the “Privacy” sign. Housekeeping later removed one of my bags, assuming it was rubbish, and I had to contact the hotel to get it back. The location was convenient. Our stay was comfortable.

Pros: The location was very convenient, easily accessible from Penn Station. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Cons: The room feels cramped and the sink in our bathroom was clogged when we first used it, called the front desk to request for a new room. They sent a facilities guy to unclogged it, said something about the sink cover needs replacement, never came back to replace it.

Pros: Great place to stay. Excellent staff. Great location to explore NYC. We stay here every time we are in town. Cons: Modern, clean and the staff are great.

Really good stay

Pros: Large rooms (bathroom tiny but plenty space in a double x 2 bed room. Comfortable beds, cleans. Location perfect Cons: Bathroom was tiny but still functional

Perfect Location and Comfortable Room

Perfect location for what we were staying for. You are a 2 minute walk from 28th street station and 5 minutes from Penn station. The room was nicely furnished and the beds were pretty comfortable.
