For the cost we paid, the windows barely closed. The mirrors where falling apart from being so old hardly anything was spent on modernisation or maintenance. The shower leaked and went everywhere but where it should. The last time there was any kind of maintenance or a fresh bit of decorating was way back in Conor clouds time. Would rather pay a bit more and get better conditions. The only and I mean only good thing for this place was the location. Most attractions where in walking distance. No info on where to park. Being denied check-in at 2:40pm even though the room was long ready, with the door closed in my face after being told in broken English to wait in the street for 20 more minutes was not the highlight of my stay (the problem was solved when I insisted and someone more senior showed up and let me get my key and move on — but still, this gave me a very sour taste).

It has a traditional charm that I like. it’s in a quiet neighbourhood.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. The room was clean but in need of redecorating. Tatty curtains, furniture in need of repair.
