Hotels.com are second home ?
This hotel as been my second home for the last 3 years, travel lodge have bought it, and take over from 22/04/2025, hope they dont mess it up, the staff are great, price great, location great, lets see what happens, also this new hotel brand are not on hotel.com? Should i stay loyal to this site, or my second home campanile Bradford, soon to be travel lodge? Thanks
The room was clean and big
The room was clean and big. The bed was comfy and shower nice and hot. The room had a strange smell I suspect someone had been smoking and it was cold we had to keep the heater on constant maybe because it was the end room with two outside walls. Damp patches on one of the walls.

Reasonable price. Good restaurant and bar area. Nice food. Helpful staff. Convenient parking. Comfortable bed. Terrible cleanliness, dirty room, filthy stained carpet. Cold room, ineffective aircon heating. No towel rail in bathroom.
Lovely reception lady was the only positive
Lovely reception lady was the only positive. She was obviously embarrassed. DO NOT BOOK ! Room was filthy it was smelly like dirty clothes and sweat , the carpet was stained and sticky from the entrance right through around the bed. Cigarette burns across the windowsill, smells of smoke, bathroom tap had toothpaste splatters all over it. Never ever been in such a dirty place … I wanted to leave but the city was so busy due to it being Eid. I personally feel these rooms are used for possibly prostitutes or to house homeless people. The sounds from other rooms were not desirable. No hotel room
