I wish I could be more positive for this family-owned hotel, but it needs improvements
Pros: Location is very central. Apparently, the last family-owned hotel in Cardiff central area. OK value for money. Cons: Bathroom (esp. shower) needs improvement, and our room (nr. 100) was very noisy. Seemed to be near a ventilation shaft and as of the early morning, warning sounds of the automatic "bollards"
Location of the hotel was brilliant right in the centre.

Lovely staff and the stay was generally comfortable
Pros: Great location. Barely five minutes from Cardiff Central. Cons: Slightly cramped rooms.
Central location
Pros: The hotel is in a central location, close to bars and the castle. The staff is always present and very kind. We were able to leave our bags after check-out. Spacious room with a large window. Tea, coffee, biscuits, and water. In the bathroom, a tub with a curtain. The small fan did its best but at night it was very hot. Honest prices. Cons: The entrance door along the street is always closed. Only steps, no elevator. The door leading to the rooms is also closed with a combination. The structure is dated with carpet and red walls in the hallway, even the room is dated.
