Pros: It was very clean and Susan was a very welcoming host Cons: It would be nice to have a lounge area to sit in as the dining area didn’t really lend itself to this

Pros: Very friendly welcome from Susan, the Host. Large and comfy single bed, desk, handy bedside table and lots of storage. Drinks station with large jug of water a nice touch. Good size bathroom and shower. Breakfast was served at my preferred time and to my order and came with home baked bread - what a treat. Susan also looked after my very wet walking shoes and made sure they dried. Location is handy for Canterbury East station. Cons: Space between bed and bathroom is a bit narrow. Deco somewhat faded, but perfectly in line with the prize.

Pros: The staff of Carena house is very helpful and does her best to assist if you have any problems. Cons: It's not far from the city centre and train station, only half an hour on foot. But for some maybe just to far away?
