We would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Pros: It was right in town and a perfect location to walk the Main Street and gardens by the castle. Cons: The property was lovely however a little refresh in some areas is needed.

Disaapointing, and will not repeat. I rebooked at the Sir Christopher Wren Hotel for November

Pros: I love the Castle, and am there any months. Brilliant location and close to work, always lovely and nicely re-furbished. Cons: They downgraded my room to something impossible small, whilst charging me full price. Impossible to use bathroom - room 211 - and when you check in at 22:00 in the evening, it is not nice to have to try and change room. I did not, and a big crowd of people staying. But, i cancelled my 2-night stay in November as I will not have such a small and poor room again for that money. No hairdryer in the room either.

We had a fabulous one night stay in the old stables. Beautiful triple room with complimentary espresso. Will return!
