Castle Yard Studios

Pros: No lift. Steep stairs to climb. Room on the top floor. Cons: Very poor notification. Informed to cancel the morning session before checking in, causing guests to find alternative accommodation.

Room is fine, but disappointed with the administration/response from the owner.

Pros: Perfect location. Cons: The room I had booked was double-booked, and I had to accept a different room at a reduced price due to short notice, but I have not received a refund.

I would definitely recommend.

Perfect location and easy check-in process. Everything was excellent!

Very uncomfortable.

Pros: Good bed, mini kitchen, great location. Cons: Condom found in the courtyard. 1-inch gaps under each door. Noise from adjacent rooms can be clearly heard. Mold in the shower. Broken leg on kitchen unit. Lots of rubbish outside. The outer door did not close properly. These issues indicate that basic problems are not being addressed, making the stay very uncomfortable.

Owners were extremely rude, and the furniture was very uncomfortable.

Pros: It was clean. Cons: Check-in at 4 pm, which I find ridiculous. Early check-in at 2 pm costs £20. 2 pm should be the standard check-in time. Received instructions with many images on how to enter the building, which was helpful. However, the images were outdated, and we had trouble getting in. The person we called was patronizing and unhelpful. We had requested a cot for our 8-month-old, but there was none in the room, just an uncomfortable sofa bed. The experience was disappointing due to the rude treatment received.
