Excellent location for access to museums andVondel park.

Pros: Toilet roll holder in room 436 fell of the wall needs replacing. Great that in room coffee machine had decaf pods but no milk was supplied in the room. Upon request Bar staff did give us a little jug of milk. Reception staff Tim and Pablo are very helpful. Victor the Porter was very helpful and cheerful. Location of hotel is excellent. Cons: Room 436 toilet roll holder needs fixing. Also leave space in the fridge for our milk and our items. No need for mini bar fridge to be stuff full. Also Pringle do not need to be refrigerated.

Pros: L’emplacement, l’espace Cons: La présence d’une souris dans la cuisine, les poignées de portes (chambre et wc) qui vous restent dans les mains, plusieurs ampoules de grillées.

Value for money

Friendly staff but pretty tired property. Good value for money for a short stop over in Amsterdam, but I would be hesitant to be here for long as it’s a bit run down.

Great place to stay!

Pros: Fabulous value to stay traditional block. Got an upgrade which was extremely welcome. Cons: I’m claustrophobic so can’t do the one man lift that creeps past the brick between floors but got great exercise climbing stairs to 4th floor.

Overpriced rooms, deceitful greedy management

Pros: It was well located Cons: We booked the property about 12 months before we stayed. A week before we stayed we realised that the prices were hundreds of Australian dollars cheaper on the booking.com site. The price of a suite was cheaper than our superior twin room. Booking.com despite our request for them to honour their price match guarantee ghosted us! It has been a week now since we checked in and booking.com have still not given me an explanation. We approached hotel management but they lied to us about a possible upgrade and essentially did not care. Despite this the hotel is old an
