City-close accommodation in Cambridge

Pros: Very friendly personal welcome, the room was nice, the free parking behind the hotel was great, breakfast was freshly cooked to order, e.g. Full English Breakfast - and very tasty, the city center of Cambridge was within walking distance in 20 - 30 minutes. Cons: We had booked and received an attic room, with the prevailing hot temperatures it was quite warm under the roof - two fans were provided, the narrow steep stairs to the 2nd floor are a bit difficult to manage with larger suitcases.

Hotel ok for short stay.

Pros: Breakfast was ok. Room small but clean Cons: Although the room was quiet at night we were woken up on the Saturday morning of our stay by the builders opposite the hotel starting work before 7.30 am.

Pros: Walking distance to the center of Cambridge. Cons: Room to the street a bit noisy, and opposite some construction works, starting from 7 am.

A night in Cambridge

Pros: Very clean room. Close to all attractions for a one night stay in Cambridge. Easy walking distance to everything. No need for public transportation or hop on/hop off bus. I'm 65 and had no problem with the walking. Close to train station. Cons: The town was busy as it's summer

Not bad

Pros: Breakfast was good, close to the train station, but there is construction noise across the street. Cons: None
