An experience that we will treasure
Pros: It's an 18th c. gorgeous cream-colored stone chateau, set back from a quiet road, placed inside 20 hectares, with two three-story guest wings centrally joined by the dining room, library and game room. The location is 30 minutes from Perigueux, 15 minutes from Bergerac. Christophe is a gentle discreet host who appears magically if needed, but otherwise we felt that we had the chateau to ourselves despite the presence of a few other congenial guests. Charming, luxurious, full of character and with a personal touch
Lovely stay, the owner Christophe was incredibly friendly and accommodating, constantly going above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The facilities are great, we spent an enjoyable day by the pool and used the hammam. The owner served us home cooked meals in various picturesque spots around the property. It’s incredibly clean and everything works well. The house/ rooms are full of nice little touches and interesting details and property has stunning views and walks.
