2nd Stayed at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy
Pros: Excellent location near Kandy river. 2nd time visit. Room had a beautiful river view. Restaurant food and breakfast were very good. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Building looks old but well maintained. Cons: Housekeeping needs improvement. Bathroom shower area wall tiles and washbasin ceramic had stains. WC inside was not cleaned properly. My previous visit was in July '26, the previous room's bathroom was stinking due to plumbing; they should use a cover to close a floor trap near the WC and shower area where gas is coming and causing odor. My second visit was in August '2

A wonderful stay with great food, a beautiful location, and friendly staff.
Pros: We had a great stay at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Cons: The water pressure in the shower was quite low, which made showering a little uncomfortable.
