Pretty okay of an experience
Pros: The location was good and grand Cons: The bathroom was worse, doesn't flush properly, the bidet shower was very bad, there was no tooth paste The room was showing age The check-in process took like 2 hours. The staff were very negligent, kept us waiting for hours until we finally lost our patience
Pros: It is a nice place to stay, featuring a good location and a really nice view. Cons: The bathtub was installed too high without any steps to help climb in, making it feel quite risky, especially for women. Since there was no alternative place to take a shower, it became a major inconvenience during our stay.The bed was worn out and weak.
Lovely hotel poor service
Pros: Situated in the centre of Colombo, so walking or a car ride to various places. The hotel was clean and had a lovely pool, just didn’t have time to use the facility. Cons: Slow service when we checked in, after a busy day travelling it just made the initial experience at the hotel underwhelming. We had drinks before going to dinner and again afterwards with desert at the bar near reception. Dinner was had at a different restaurant. Both times the service was slow and we had to get people’s attention in order to ask for drinks and also settle the bill. For the type of hotel this was aiming
