Clarendon Hotel South Melbourne

The unit was very large and comfortable. Denis was very pleasant, professional and easy to communicate with. We were very happy with our stay.

Good value in the right location.

Pros: The location was perfect for me in vibrant area. There was no awareness of other guests. Check in was remote and easy Cons: It is a bit noisy: chairs scraping on the roof and a loud pump that switched on and off day and night. You need earplugs!

Pros: Great location and easy to travel into the CBD. Cons: Bar and pub noise could be heard in the room.

Lovely relaxed stay with excellent facilities.

Pros: Excellent location. Great to have two bathrooms, and the layout of the room was nice, however a table and chairs might be nice. The glass doors and blinds for each room was good for privacy. Loved having the rooftop bar and restaurant in pub below. We had a jug of spritz, then just got in the lift and came back to our room. Same with our dinner, just popped down to the pub for dinner, then back to the room. Great location, only two blocks from South Melbourne Markets with tram just outside. We really loved our stay at the Clarendon! Cons: would be nice to have a table and chairs, though

Convenient, excellent value.

Pros: Excellent location, large rooms, easy checking in and extremely good price. Tram just outside. Cons: More range needed in complimentary tea choices.
