Lovely short break to the IOW for a birthday treat. Beautiful location and everything we needed.

Pros: We didn't fully understand what to expect in terms of breakfast, not the hosts fault. It was DIY but everything was provided, including ingredients for a cooked breakfast if we required it. The table was set, and everything in its right place ready to go. The host explained everything to us when we arrived. Cons: We couldn't really fault it. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. We travelled by ferry and walked to the property along the sea front which took little time at all.

A fabulous English country cottage in a superb location with a rich history.

Pros: It is s a beautiful cottage with a fabulous history in a fantastic location for the main town of Cowes. The rooms are very well proportioned with virtually every need catered for. There is a fully stocked & functional kitchen with a fabulous dining room & a lovely sitting room. The garden is full of flowers with an outside seating area, chiminea & BBQ. Cons: There was nothing not to like.

Man inhabits the host's house. However, he stays in the background and is very friendly and accommodating. Dan provides you with good tips! One must know that it is not a classic B&B, as you prepare breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen yourself. Dan provides everything! There is no lack of anything. We would come back! There is practically a large private bedroom, bathroom, and dining room. You can also use the living room with a fireplace. Dan takes care, asks if anything is missing, and ensures a very tidy and clean accommodation!

Man bewohnt das Haus des Gastgebers. Dieser hält sich jedoch im Hintergrund und ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Dan versorgt einem mit guten Tipps! Man muss wissen , dass es sich nicht um klassisches B&B handelt, da man sich das Frühstück in der top ausgestatteten Küche selber zubereitet. Dan stellt alles zur Verfügung! Es mangelt an nichts. Wir würden wiederkommen! Es gibt quasi ein eigenes großes Schlafzimmer, Badezimmer und Esszimmer. Gerne kann man auch das Wohnzimmer mit Kamin nutzen. Dan kümmert sich rührend, fragt nach ob etwas fehlt und sorgt für eine sehr aufgeräumte und sehr s

Pros: The location was excellent, a very short walk to the center of Cowes along the beautiful seafront. The house was lovely with a very relaxed atmosphere and every facility required was accounted for. Our host Dan was very friendly and made us feel very relaxed and at home. Cons: Nothing negative to report.
