It was okay.

Pros: The staff is friendly. The family room is spacious. Not as expensive as hotels in the city center. There are cafes and supermarkets nearby. Buses run frequently. Close to the airport. Cons: The room is old. The bed sheets may have been washed but are old. The humidity in the room and sheets is not comfortable. Next to the family room is the entrance with a noisy door.

Pros: Proximity to the airport Cons: The cutlery in the room was dirty and it was difficult to carry bags to the attic/2nd floor.

Poor value for money

Cons: "Outdated", no elevator, noisy: slamming doors, creaky floors and stairs, makeshift and noisy ventilation. A townhouse unsuitable for hotel accommodation! Despite a well-intentioned staff.

Pros: Comfortable stay

Pros: Comfortable stay. Big room for the 5 of us. Location wasn't bad, about a 20-minute drive from Edinburgh. The room was clean. Cons: We were quite upset the first night because we were woken up at 12:30 at night by someone banging on our door multiple times. It turned out to be the manager trying to locate some noise. They wanted to solve the problem by waking up guests in neighboring rooms.
