ABSENT HOST, BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Pros: It was clean and the finish was to a decent standard. Cons: I would NOT recommend that you stay here unless you are 100% certain that you will not have any issues, as the host may as well not exist. The bedding was feather, and I’m allergic. My bad, I forgot to inform the property beforehand, so slept in my clothes under a blanket for the first night. However, the host NEVER responded despite repeated attempts to contact them, and I am actually yet to receive anything more than an automated message from them. There is only 1 key, so if you lose it or find yourself in an emergency situat

Perfect base for exploring England’s southwest.

Pros: Large, clean, and overall nice Apartment. Close to the railway station, a small supermarket, and a beautiful park. Cons: There’s a bit of mold on the upper bedroom window. However, I’m mildly allergic to mold and didn’t notice anything, so it wasn’t a real issue. The water pressure of the shower is a bit low. The bedroom window isn’t soundproofed well.

Pros: Brilliant location, everything is within walking distance and parking isn’t far. The flat itself is lovely and exactly like the pictures Cons: The water pressure wasn’t as high as I would usually like but that’s probably me being picky!

Cons: BEWARE - Last-Minute Cancellation & Unprofessional Host After booking nearly four months in advance, the host cancelled my reservation on the very morning of my check-in, citing overbooking. This left me in serious distress, having to frantically search for and book alternative accommodation while literally on the train to Southampton. There was no prior message, no apology, and no assistance—only a cold, automated cancellation. The behaviour was utterly unprofessional and unacceptable. I was only protected because I booked via Booking.com, who processed my refund. Without that platform'
