Pros: Good parking, handy to bus route to town. Friendly staff. Very much an older style English hotel. Room had good ventilation. Cons: Our room decor was awful, old fashioned and soaked up any light. The tv was sooo old. Needs a new smart TV. Pillows quite firm but we don't mind that.
Nice stay in Oxford
Pros: Fab breakfast, everything was fresh and well presented. Room was as advertised. Friendly staff. Lots of restaurants and pubs within 10min walk. On site parking a bonus! Cons: A personal preference, but found the pillows a bit too firm and matress a bit soft/saggy.

Very friendly bar staff who made an extra effort to give us dinner after the restaurant had closed. We were tired after
Pros: It is a beautiful building set in a very lovely area. It was quiet and peaceful Cons: We paid much more for our stay, in what was a very simple room, than we paid for a room in the MacDonald chain and I compared the two based on the price
Great location and most staff friendly and professional, niggles means we'll go elsewhere next time.
Pros: The location was perfect and for a small hotel it had plenty of parking which was a bonus. Bar staff were friendly. At breakfast the staff were friendly and efficient. Cons: We arrived at 1pm to be told that our room was ready, but if we wanted to check in early (i.e before 1:30pm!) we would have to pay an extra £30! We declined and started our sightseeing early! The next morning we were woken up by housekeeping freely entering our room without announcing it was them or waiting for permission to enter, not great!
