Pros: Nice area, shopping opportunities nearby. Beautiful view of the Charles River. Cons: Unfortunately, the breakfast concept did not convince us. Instead of a breakfast buffet, you receive a voucher and have to choose and buy breakfast yourself at the restaurant. For us, this was inconvenient and did not meet our expectations of a hotel breakfast. Additionally, disposable plastic cutlery and plastic cups were used. This did not seem high quality or particularly environmentally friendly. We also found the parking fees to be high. We are aware that this is probably not unusual for Cambridge,

Cons: The AC unit took a long time to cool the room

Cons: The AC unit took a long time to cool the room. This was even despite a friendly maintenance member coming to assess the unit. I was able to stay comfortable, but the unit might need to be updated.

Destination fee scam

Will not recommend. We were hit with a $32 destination fee which we didn’t agree on. Then they give you a $32 cruder to use at the bistro that we didn’t use. Reached out to the front desk and was told that the fee was bonded into the contract with TripAdvisor. Searching everywhere and didn’t see such thing. We were still disputing the charge and requesting a refund for that amount

We stayed here for the great location-- easy walk to Central Station and the hip vibes of Cambridge.

Pros: Easy check-in- helpful staff answered all our questions. Cons: The $32 credit that was charged first and then offered for us to use at the bar/breakfast. That was a surprise. Usually we like to choose how we spend our money.

I managed. The location was convenient for me.
