The room was clean, spacious, private and convenient. The owner/operator, Martyn, was delightful, welcoming and provided a lovely private continental breakfast each morning. We look forward to our next visit.
Luxurious stay in Painswick
The owner contacted us with detailed information regarding check-in, breakfasts, places to eat etc before arrival. The room was lovely and the bathroom luxurious. The breakfasts were beautiful - muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit from the garden, fresh coffee, toast and warm croissants. It was a lovely break. The house is very close to the little village of Painswick, a walk or very short drive from Slad, Laurie Lee country.

The owner is engaging and provides a perfect stay for travelers. Convenient dining options in the village within a 5 minute walk was an extra bonus. I would definitely rebook again, when in the area.
Perfect place to stay
Beautiful room, very stylish and well presented. Quiet, no traffic or ‘other guest’ noise at all. The owner was very friendly and served us a top quality breakfast in the main house which was beautiful. Worth every penny. Would stay here again.
